Do you know Jagjit Singh Ji released his first Shabad album, ‘Man Jeetai Jagjit’ in the year 1991, which was recorded just after the untimely death of his son Vivek. In fact, this was the first album that was recorded by Jagjit Ji after his son's demise. Although, he was given the break to sing Shabad Gurbani for 2 albums by the eminent music director Shri S. Mohinder Ji in the ’70s, which were, 1975 and ‘Selected Shabads And Shlokas Of Hazrat Baba Sheikh Farid Ganj-I-Shakar’ released in 1978.
