Taraana is a 1979 Hindi movie produced by Tarachand Barjatya for Rajshri Productions. The film's music is by Vijay Patil, also known as Raam Laxman.
Tarana is the melody of love. It revolves around the love between Radha and Shyam which blossomed in the beauty of Kashmir. When Radha’s father Rana know their love, he was surprised to the heart. Then Rana went to Shyam’s guardian Thakur for her daughter’s happiness. Thakur after lost his daughter he had brought up Shyam as his own son. Though Thakur was really Radha’s father he was bent upon destroys her love and happiness, but he proved powerless against Thakur’s might. And the time came when Thakur was about to kill his own daughter Radha, which was Radha’s childhood friend came to her save by revealing the truth. At last, both are united in the rest of the story.
